How to create a token on Arc with LaunchLot
To create a community token on LaunchLot, open Create, enter its name and ticker, add your project information, connect a compatible wallet on Arc, and review the launch. The token is created only after you approve the transaction and it succeeds onchain.
What do you need before creating a token?
Prepare a distinctive name, a short ticker, artwork you have permission to use, a plain description, and working community links. The current form accepts a name within 64 UTF-8 bytes and a ticker within 12 bytes. Non-English characters can use more than one byte.
You also need a compatible wallet and enough USDC on Arc for the network fee. Opening the form or connecting a wallet does not create a token. Never enter a seed phrase into a launch form.
Create and verify your launch
- Open Create on launchlot.io. Check that you are using the mainnet workspace if you intend to create a real token.
- Enter the name and ticker. Add a short story and optional website or community links. Review spelling before proceeding.
- Add artwork if you want it. The current upload flow accepts PNG, JPEG, or WebP up to 5 MiB. Complete its authorization step if prompted.
- Connect your wallet and choose Review launch. Check supply, USDC pairing, graduation threshold, protocol fee, and network.
- Read the wallet request and estimated network fee. Approve only the transaction you intended to make.
- Wait for the transaction result. Verify the created token address and receipt on the Arc explorer before sharing the token page.
What happens after creation?
The configured launch contract creates a fixed supply of one billion tokens. Trading begins in the bonding-curve phase. Creating the token does not provide buyers, establish a market value, or guarantee that it will graduate.
Share the exact token address and a direct market link with your community. Explain what the project is, how its launch works, and any creator holdings. A ticker alone cannot distinguish your token from copies.
If the launch does not complete
Check the network, available gas balance, artwork authorization, and the error shown by the form. If a transaction was submitted, look up its hash before retrying. A pending transaction and a rejected wallet request are different states.
The demo preview saves fictional activity locally. A successful demo launch is not an onchain deployment.
