A community token launch checklist
Before launching, prepare an accurate project description, artwork, links, and a plan for communicating with your community. After the transaction succeeds, publish the exact token address and market link. Keep every claim tied to something people can verify.
Before opening the create form
- Choose a distinctive name and ticker. Search for potential confusion with existing projects.
- Write one sentence explaining the community or purpose. Avoid claims about returns, guaranteed demand, or unconfirmed partnerships.
- Prepare original or licensed artwork that remains legible as a small icon.
- Check your website and community links while signed out. Remove broken links and invitation URLs that have expired.
- Understand the supply, curve, fees, graduation process, and what can be changed after launch.
Before announcing the token
- Wait for a successful creation receipt, then verify the network and contract address.
- Open the token page and check the name, symbol, artwork, description, and links.
- Copy the full token address and direct market URL. Test that URL in a fresh browser session.
- Disclose relevant creator holdings and project limitations in plain language.
- Give people a clear way to distinguish the real token from copies.
Make your project easy to understand and find
Use a consistent name and description on your own website and community profiles. Publish useful explanations of the project, its launch mechanics, and what participants can actually do. Link to the exact market page from pages you control.
Answer real community questions with specific information. A worked example, an accurate walkthrough, and a verifiable release update are more useful than repeatedly posting the same promotional claim. Follow the rules of any community where you participate.
After launch
Keep project links and public status accurate. Explain meaningful changes, delays, and unavailable features. Use onchain receipts to verify transactions instead of treating a screenshot as proof.
Track visits and meaningful actions separately. A person reading your guide, opening a market, connecting a wallet, and completing a transaction are four different outcomes. None of them guarantees the token will retain value.
