Costs & execution
LaunchLot fees: USDC, gas, and trading costs
The current LaunchLot launch contract charges no creation fee and a 0% protocol fee on bonding-curve trades. Transactions still require network gas. The configured graduated Uniswap V4 pool uses a 0.3% pool fee, and trades can also incur price impact.
Which costs should you check?
- Token creation: no creation charge in the current launch contract; network gas still applies.
- Bonding-curve trading: 0% protocol fee in the current contract. Your order still changes the curve price.
- Graduated pool trading: the configured adapter uses the 0.3% Uniswap V4 fee tier. Check the selected pool and quote.
- Approvals and transactions: wallet approvals, purchases, sales, and graduation can require separate transactions and network fees.
- External services: wallets, bridges, exchanges, or alternative interfaces may have their own charges.
Why does LaunchLot use USDC?
USDC is the quote asset for LaunchLot launches and the gas currency on Arc. Leave enough available for gas beyond the amount you intend to trade. A token priced in USDC is still a volatile token; the pairing does not stabilize its value.
These fee descriptions apply to the current configured LaunchLot implementation reviewed on September 17, 2026. A different contract, pool, network, or future release may have different terms. The transaction request and live quote are the immediate reference for an action.
Is slippage a fee?
No. Price impact is the change caused by the order itself. Slippage is the difference between the expected execution and the result as market conditions change. Slippage tolerance sets a limit on what the transaction will accept; it is not an additional platform charge.
For example, if a quote expects 1,000 tokens and minimum received is 990, the transaction is constrained by that minimum. This is an illustration, not a live quote. A trade that reverts can still consume gas.

Review the amount you spend, expected output, minimum output, allowance, network fee, and destination contract. Compare quotes using the same order size and the same asset units.
A zero protocol fee does not mean trading is free or that a token is safe. Small markets can have substantial price impact even when their explicit fee is low.
